The three-day course started on 1/6/2025 addressed the concepts of soft power, public diplomacy, and national identity, the various tools of public diplomacy and their practical applications, the intersections of soft power and public diplomacy in international relations, and how they contributed to shifting the Arab geopolitical center to the Gulf states.
The course also included how to design a state's public diplomacy model, through a practical exercise carried out by the participants. Each group proposed and adopted a model of public diplomacy for a different country as a practical exercise on the stages and mechanisms of design.
The course concluded with the distribution of certificates in the presence of Ms. Maryam Al Saad, the head of public diplomacy at Katara.
